Kevin Hamilton
CFO / Partner
Kevin is a numbers guy... with heart. He’s got an MBA, but specialized in sustainable business; he likes working a spreadsheet, but is also great with people.
Yeah, a little unusual. But it works.
Kevin got involved in real estate because he believes
it matters. That home ownership - while not always the best thing for everyone in every situation - nonetheless offers benefits that lie beyond tax deductions and appreciation.
He experienced this first-hand when he bought his first home in Oakland.
As a young adult, he and his circle of friends were renters. He was the first among them to buy a home. And when he did, a funny thing happened.
All of his buddies started hanging out at
his place. It became the center of their social world. Because it was
his. Because he and his wife treated it as an extension of themselves. It was part of their lives in a way all the other roofs that had hung over their heads had never been.
It felt special. He’s part of Red Oak to help others feel the same thing.
Kevin resides in Oakland’s
Laurel Neighborhood with his wife and two young daughters. He loves hiking in the East Bay hills with his dog and family, “running the lake”, a sandwich from
Bakesale Betty and the occasional adult beverage at
The Trappist.
