Helping nice people like you buy and sell wonderful homes

Technically, I was born overseas but was raised locally as a Bay Area native, having grown up on the Peninsula, having bought my first home in San Francisco and frequently visiting family in Redwood City, San Ramon and (a new nephew!) in San Jose.

Graduating with a Bachelors in Computer Science from San Francisco State University, I first started working for a tech company in Silicon Valley. Working for that same startup for 8 years was thrilling in that everyday was different with many challenges and opportunities (not unlike the business of real estate). Some favorite aspects of this startup life was being out of a cubicle and working closely with every department, trying to solve problems and meeting deadlines…and traveling both nationally and internationally.

While working in Silicon Valley, I also volunteered in San Francisco with Project Open Hand (POH), delivering meals to the homebound. Eventually I was able to join POH professionally where I helped the organization to upgrade its computer systems and consolidate its various facilities into a single, convenient headquarters in the Tenderloin and remained on as the Director of Information Systems helping the non-profit staff to make the most of their new computers and other technological tools.

My first home was a condo conversion project in the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. It was a two-unit, mid-century, TIC building (a diamond-in-the-rough) and converting it into condos was an experience that was both exciting and rewarding. Twelve years later, I sold my condo and I’m now enjoying the pleasures of living in a brand new townhouse designed by David Baker on the Emeryville/Oakland border.

When I’m not helping Buyers and Sellers, I enjoy hanging out in various Bay Area neighborhoods, checking out new restaurants and other hot spots. Other favorite activities include biking, scuba diving, jogging, tennis and the occasional skydiving. Traveling is also a very important passion, having visited 24 countries (and counting).

Whether you're looking to buy or sell a townhouse in Emeryville, a loft in Oakland, a condo near the Lake, a Craftsman in Rockridge or a Bungalow in Berkeley, I would enjoy “helping nice people like you, buy and sell wonderful homes.” I understand that buying or selling a home is serious business, however, it should also be a satisfying one, too. I’m there to make sure that happens. Please feel free to call, email or text me anytime.
