I was born in Berkeley and raised in the East Bay. After graduating from U.C. Berkeley, I traveled and lived for extensive periods of time in both Brazil and Japan. During these years, and while in the States, I taught English as a second language. I have a Master’s Degree in Education and a Single Subject California Teaching Credential. More recently, I ran a successful translation, voice over and foreign language television content business. Just as in buying or selling a house, my translation business required that the specific needs of the clients always be met, and that the preparation and delivery of documents be handled with the utmost care.
Over the last years my real estate work has morphed from a buyer-based business, with occasional listings, to an almost exclusively listing-based business. At present I represent a few different groups of investers who are buying properties at trustee sales for resale. I am involved with the entire process from the seaching for viable trustee sale properties, through the rehab of the properties we purchase, and finally on the listing and sale of these properties. These are in fact interesting times, both for our world and for the real estate markets. I feel proud of the work that I have done for my clients and for the quality of houses that we are putting back on the market. Recently I completed the course work, and passed the state exam, for my broker's license. As a broker, I feel that I am even more qualified to represent my clients with their real estate investment and development projects.
While I am a broker at Red Oak's Pleasant Valley office, you will rarely see me at this location. Most of my listings are in central and southern Alameda County, including San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Hayward, Fremont, Union City, Newark, Castro Valley, Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore. As my main goal is to protect my clients' investments, I will be found in these cities most afternoons, while my mornings are spent preparing for the Alameda County trustee sales with my partners.
