I cannot say enough wonderful things about Team 510. From my very first phone call, Jackie was helpful, reassuring, considerate, professional and on the ball. Both Jackie and Chimene proved to be experts at what they do, and they made the experience of selling my condo a breeze. We are so fortunate to have Chimene and Jackie as our agents. We were referred to them by our property manager. When my wife first chatted with Chimene on the phone, she was very impressed with her professionalism and eagerness to represent us. We live out of state and wanted to have someone we had complete trust in handling our sale. A tenant needed to vacate, upgrades needed to happen, coordination with the HOA and property management company was involved and Chimene handled that with ease. We were hoping to sell at $200,000. But after Chimene completed the recommended upgrades, (carpet, paint at reasonable cost) and her encouragement to have the location professionally staged, she thought it was good to offer at $245,000. She also had a strategy, based on current market activity, to host an open house but to only accept offers after 5 days. We were extremely pleased to get eight offers. All over our asking price. The one that was the highest, and also appeared to be a solid offer was 23% over asking!
However, this is not the end of the story. Often, we hear about the great performance from professionals we engage to provide services for us as clients. Thankfully, these are normally due to transactions that go through without a hitch and all parties involved are completely in synchronization. This was not the case for our transaction. There was a major "glitch" by the buyer and this held up the close of escrow. The classic domino effect was the result and caused potential cascading delays in 5 escrow closures. Needless to say, this was very stressful for all parties and everyone had plan B, C, D in place. We all had hoped that, based on the strong offers in all of the transactions involved, that this would not happen.
Chimene also had plan B and C in place and kept the constant pressure on the buyer and their lender to perform. We believe her deep knowledge in the all of the processes and her keen eye on details kept the transaction moving. In the end, we were five days past our planned close of escrow that could have been so much worse. We were able to close on our purchase only two days late and subsequent deals went through with one or zero days delay. We don't even want to think of the result if this deal did not go through.

Jackie Gallanagh is a "Magician" She can take a difficult house, figure out what reasonable fixes can be done, and transform it into a marketable item. She sold my family home which started out looking like an ugly duckling and transformed it into a swan! I was truly shocked with the finished product. I originally came to Jackie (and her Realtor partner Chimene who work as a team) confused and unclear about what to do with my Mom's home which I had to sell. Jackie led me every step of the way. All I had to do was evaluate her ideas (well laid out written plan), set a budget, and write checks to pay the work force she provided so the project could be ongoing. I gave Jackie a key to the house because I live 33 miles away. She gave me regular reports (email and phone); and I trusted her completely. But it wasn't working out so well because I found myself looking at homes $50,000 over my budget and this agent indicated I wasn't going to find what I truly want unless I bump the price up at least $50,000. Our experience with Team 510 started when we first met Chimene Pollard as we went to look at our first home. As first time buyers we had been surveying the market using the Internet for about a year but didn’t start physically looking at homes until we knew we had financing in place. We of course made the mistake of falling hopelessly for the first house we saw which is where we met Chimene.
It took us about two seconds to realize that even if we didn’t get this house we had found our agent. Chimene was amazing. She was full of information and knowledge and very clear and easy to understand as she explained the process to us. We made it clear that we really wanted to go for the short sale property we were looking at and she explained how that, more complicated process, worked.
Over the next couple of weeks the value of Team 510 and their experience became all too obvious. This team has been doing this for a while and has great relationships with all the other professionals we had to work with to complete this sale. Which brings us to Jackie Gallanagh. You may have heard that short sales are tricky and it can be true. Ours was sailing along a little too smoothly when we ran into difficulty with the second lender on the seller’s side. Jackie was cool and confident throughout this process where we literally saw our dream fading out of view. We firmly believe that without Jackie’s professionalism, understanding of the process and sure tenacity we would not be moving into our home today. It took a lot of work and a lesser agent might have just given up, but each set back just made Jackie try harder. Finally, with the clock almost at zero, Jackie secured our deal and helped us achieve our dream.
