Red Oak Realty, a leading independent East Bay real estate brokerage established in 1976, has introduced a new logo and branding to better reflect its status as an innovative and modern firm.
“Our old logo represented our beginnings as a company but we’ve changed a lot over the past 42 years,” said Vanessa Bergmark, President of Red Oak Realty. “The new wordmark, the colors, used, every detail, symbolizes who we are now as a local brokerage with deep ties to the community and a modern approach to providing great customer service.”
Red Oak Realty worked with Portland-based brand and marketing agency 1000watt on the creation of the new branding. The wordmark logo was built off an existing typeface that a lettering specialist customized for Red Oak. The new design’s strong lines and upward sweeping letters are reminiscent of the tree logo used in the past.
“Working with the Red Oak team, we saw a company that is bold, honest, and authentic, a serious company but also approachable. This new wordmark is a tangible symbol of the deep roots that Red Oak has in both Oakland and Berkeley,” added Jessica Swesey of 1000watt.
The new marketing materials are fresh and engaging, and the new look promises great advertising reach for Red Oak’s clients. With new colors and an abstracted pattern of outlined letters, the design reminds the viewer of the great eclecticism in the community and in Red Oak itself.
Also featured with the new brand visual rollout is a new brand tagline, “Good move” – a sentiment meant to capture the feeling of accomplishment after buying, selling or making a big real estate move in the East Bay.
The new materials were recently unveiled at Red Oak’s annual meeting where it was received enthusiastically by Red Oak’s agents. The branding is now in use in the community including company marketing materials with the exception of the Red Oak website, which will roll out an entirely new look and feel later this year.
