I look at houses all the time, and I tour them with the eye of a marketing guru, a personal shopper, an interior designer and an appraiser. As your Listing Agent, it is my job to ensure that you sell your property for the most money and on the best terms possible. At Red Oak Realty I have access to a tremendous amount of market analysis and hyper-local neighborhood stats, as well as my own expertise.  Together you and I will review all the assets and features of your home as well as the market data, and then I'll craft a strategic, personal plan for achieving your goals.

I will help you prepare your property for sale, price and position it appropriately, secure inspection reports and compile the disclosures, and follow through on all of our marketing efforts. I'll be there with you every step of the way, and keep you apprised of our progress at each step. I'll be a fierce negotiator, and once we've accepted an offer I will shepherd it through escrow until it's closed.

As a Buyer's Agent, I am your personal shopper. I want to have a genuine understanding of your goals, budget, target neighborhoods and more. For over ten years before joining Red Oak, I owned and managed Orange Door Properties, a boutique independent brokerage devoted to personal service, local knowledge, and green business practices. It was my vision to create a brokerage with an independent spirit — not affiliated with a large corporate entity — able to be flexible for clients and staff, and built around the premise that you can love your work and your life too. Hanna Kerns and Sami Elabed joined me over the years and we formed a tight team. Before becoming a Realtor, I worked for many years as a marketing professional. I was the Marketing Director for San Francisco Performances and New Century Chamber Orchestra as well as a Marketing Consultant and Events Producer for many arts and social service organizations in San Francisco and the East Bay.

In addition to these pursuits I have art directed and designed several independent films, commercials and photo shoots. I have a great eye, which is a huge asset for Sellers when it comes to staging their homes for sale. It's also a benefit for my Buyer clients as it helps me see the potential in a raw space, look beyond the staging to what may be camouflaged, as well as advise in choices about future remodeling and updating projects.

I've been in the Bay Area for over 20 years and live in Oakland with my son Ben and our dog, Firebolt. When not at work, I volunteer as part of the team who produce the East Bay Mini Maker Faire, and am Co-Director of CAMP 510, an arts and maker summer camp for kids.
